Renault relaunches the Renault Duster in India to regain the lost market share

Renault relaunches the Renault Duster in India, aiming to regain market share in the competitive compact SUV segment with updated design and features.

On Tuesday, French carmaker Renault is ready to reintroduced the Duster brand in India. The company is here to introduction an exclusive mid-sized SUV. Renault SUV strategy India seems to boost volumes and recover lost market share in the passenger vehicle area. Now, the company has introduced Duster. The company now has four products in its portfolio like the Triber, Kwid, and Kiger.
Renault India Vice President Francisco Hidalgo told reporters, "Overall, we want to come back as soon as possible to where we were (in terms of market share and volumes), not such a long time ago".
Stand in one of the prime competitive areas, the new Duster will rival models like the aruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Tata Sierra.
French carmaker Renault on Tuesday reintroduced the Duster brand in India with the launch of an all-new mid-size SUV segment India. It looks to enhance the volumes and regain lost market share in the passenger vehicle segment.
With Duster, the company now has four products in its line of portfolio. The buyers can also look for the Kwid, Triber and Kiger.
The auto company had touched a high market share of up to 4 per cent in 2016. In the year 2022, they had discontinued the production of this model.
Hidalgo stated "Duster is just the first product of a big lineup. We have a clear destination point. I don't really care if it takes two more months, more or less, to get there. What are important is the trend and the direction. And we are very clear about that".
After Duster launch 2026 India and fulfilling the domestic demand of the car, Renault also planning to export the new Duster to global markets as well.
